Webstore Configuration

Webstore Configuration lets you publish a customer-facing online storefront where visitors can browse your rental catalog and make bookings. The settings are split into three sections: General Settings, Social Media Links, and Template Selection.

Navigate to Settings → Application Settings → Webstore Configuration to access this page.

General Settings

Webstore Status

The toggle activates or deactivates your public webstore.

  • On — your storefront is live and accessible to customers at your webstore URL.
  • Off — the storefront is not accessible to the public.

Webstore URL

Your webstore is served at:

https://{your-slug}.rentablez.com/store

Enter a unique slug in the URL field. The domain suffix is appended automatically.

URL rules:

  • Lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens only
  • Minimum 3 characters, maximum 50 characters
  • No spaces or special characters

When you change the URL field, a Save URL button appears. Click it to apply the change — the page reloads to reflect the new address.

Once the URL is saved and the webstore is active, a Visit Store button appears next to the field. Click it to open your live storefront in a new tab.

An SSL certificate is automatically included for all webstore URLs.

Saving General Settings

Click Save Changes at the bottom of the General Settings card. A confirmation dialog appears — confirm to apply the changes.

Add links to your social media profiles. These links are displayed on your webstore.

FieldPlaceholder
Instagramhttps://instagram.com/your-handle
Facebookhttps://facebook.com/your-page
Twitter (X)https://twitter.com/your-handle
LinkedInhttps://linkedin.com/company/your-company
YouTubehttps://youtube.com/@your-channel

Enter the full URL for each platform you want to display. Leave a field blank to hide that platform on the storefront.

Click Save Changes to apply.

Template Selection

Choose the visual template for your webstore. Available templates are fetched from the system and displayed as cards in a grid.

Previewing a Template

Each template card has a Preview button.

  • Sample Data (default) — opens a demo version of the template using sample content. This works for all users.
  • My Data — opens a preview using your actual inventory. This option is only available if your account has at least one active asset. Toggle between Sample Data and My Data using the switch above the template grid.

If a template is already your active template, clicking Preview opens your live storefront directly.

Applying a Template

Click Use Template on any template card to apply it immediately. The change is saved automatically — no separate Save button is required. A success notification confirms the template has been applied.

The currently active template shows an Active Template badge and its Use Template button is disabled.
