How to Track Stock Transactions?
Every time stock moves in Rentablez — a delivery arrives, a part gets used on a repair, or a manual adjustment is made — the Store records it as a transaction. Navigate to Store → Transactions to see the full history.
Where Did That Stock Go? — Transaction History
The transactions list shows every movement in chronological order. Each entry tells you:
- Date — when the transaction happened
- Type — whether it was stock coming in (Receipt), going out (Issue), or a manual change (Adjustment)
- Item — the SKU and name of the item that moved
- Quantity — positive for stock received, negative for stock used or adjusted out
- Reference — a link to the maintenance job it was tied to, or the reason entered at the time (for example, Repair Job #1023 or Shop Use)
Need to Narrow It Down? — Filter Transactions
Use the filters to focus on what matters:
Low Stock shows only items that are running below their reorder level — useful for planning your next purchase order.
Date Range lets you filter by a time period, for example Last Month, to see usage trends and understand how quickly supplies are moving.
Type lets you filter for just receipts, just issues, or just adjustments — helpful when you want to review a specific kind of movement without the noise.
You’re All Set!
The Rentablez Transactions log gives you a complete audit of every stock movement in the Store — nothing gets lost and every cost is traceable back to the job or reason it was used for. Use it alongside Store Inventory to stay on top of what’s available and what needs restocking.
