One-Off Rental? — Order Contracts
An Order Contract is tied to a single rental order. It lists the exact equipment, rental period, rates, and any special terms for that specific job. Use this for standard daily or weekly rentals where you want the customer to sign for what they’re taking.

Long-Term Client? — Master Agreements
A Master Agreement covers all future rentals with a customer under one standing document. Once both parties sign, you don’t need a new contract for every small order — the master agreement covers the relationship.
Use this for corporate clients, regular production partners, or any account where you’re doing repeat business. You can set it to auto-renew so it extends automatically at the end of each period.
Building Your Documents — Templates and Clauses
Rentablez uses a building-block approach to contracts.
Clauses are individual legal paragraphs — Liability, Late Fees, Damage Waiver, Force Majeure. Write each one once, then reuse it across multiple templates.
Templates are assembled from clauses into complete documents — a Standard Rental Agreement, a Long-Term Lease, a Corporate Master Agreement. Choose a template when creating any contract and Rentablez fills in the order or customer details automatically.

How Does Signing Work? — The Signature Workflow
Rentablez uses a step-by-step signing process that creates a complete audit trail.
The contract starts as a Draft. An internal user (your company) signs first, moving it to Pending Customer Signature. Rentablez then sends the customer a secure link with a one-time password. The customer verifies the OTP and signs digitally. Once both parties have signed, the contract becomes Active.
Every step is timestamped and logged so you always know who signed, when, and from where.
