How to Connect Zoho Books?

Connect Rentablez to Zoho Books to automatically push finalized invoices and customer records to your accounting software—no manual data entry, no double work.

What the integration does:

  • Push finalized invoices from Rentablez directly to Zoho Books with one click
  • Automatically sync the customer contact when pushing an invoice
  • Track sync status and retry failed syncs from the invoice list

Before You Start

You need:

  • A Zoho Books account with an active organization
  • Settings Write permission in Rentablez

Connect to Zoho Books

  1. Click Settings in the left sidebar → select Integrations
  2. Find Zoho Books and click Connect
  3. A Zoho sign-in window opens — log in with your Zoho account
  4. Grant Rentablez permission to access your Zoho Books data
  5. The window closes and the status updates to Connected, showing your Zoho organization name

Push an Invoice to Zoho Books

Once connected, a Push to Zoho Books button appears on finalized invoices.

  1. Open an invoice (from Orders → Billing & Financials, or from the Invoice list)
  2. Finalize the invoice if it is still in Draft
  3. Click Push to Zoho Books
  4. The invoice and the linked customer are synced to your Zoho Books account

You can check the sync status on the invoice. If a sync fails, click the button again to retry.

Note: Only finalized invoices can be pushed. Draft invoices are excluded.

Disconnect

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations
  2. Click Disconnect next to Zoho Books
  3. Confirm the disconnection

Disconnecting removes all stored authentication data. Invoices already pushed to Zoho Books are not affected.
