How to manage order documents
Keep all rental documents organized and accessible by attaching them directly to orders. For example, when a customer signs a rental agreement or you take photos of equipment condition before handover, you can upload these files to the order’s Documents tab—making it easy to reference contracts, condition photos, or delivery receipts anytime you need them.
How it Works
Each order has a Documents tab where you can upload files, add descriptions, and search through all attached documents.
Access Order Documents
Open an order and click the Documents tab.
You’ll see all files uploaded for this order.
Upload a Document
In the Documents tab, click Upload Document.
Click Browse or drag and drop your file.
Select the file from your computer and it uploads immediately.
Note: You can upload multiple files at once.
Add Document Description
After uploading, find the document in the list and click Edit or the description field.
Add a clear description like “Signed rental agreement”, “Pickup inspection photos”, “Delivery receipt”, or “Return condition report”.
Click Save.
View Uploaded Documents
In the Documents tab, click on any document name or thumbnail.
The document opens - PDFs open in the viewer, images display full size, and other files download.
Close the viewer when done.
Search for Documents
If you have many files, use the Search box in the Documents tab.
Type keywords from the file name, description, or document type.
Results filter automatically.
Delete a Document
Find the document to remove and click Delete or the trash icon.
Confirm the deletion.
The file is permanently removed.
Note: Be careful - deletion cannot be undone.
