Application Settings
The Settings module is the control center for your Rentablez workspace. Here you can configure everything from your company details to tax rates and user permissions.
Organization
- Organization Details: Update your company name, logo, and address.
- Date & Time: Set your timezone and date format preferences.
- Locations: Manage your warehouses, stores, and branches.
Users & Access
- Users: Invite team members and manage their accounts.
- Roles: Define permissions and access levels for different staff members (e.g., Admin, Store Manager, Driver).
- Ground Staff: Register and manage your field team — drivers, warehouse operators, and field technicians.
Financial Settings
- Tax Configuration: Set up tax rates (e.g., GST, VAT) for different regions or item types.
- Bank Accounts: Add your bank details for invoices.
- Payment Methods: Configure accepted payment modes (Cash, Card, Bank Transfer).
- Security Deposits: Set default rules for security deposits on rentals.
- Customer Discount: Set the maximum discount percentage that can be assigned to customers.
Inventory Setup
- Item Categories: Organize your assets into logical groups (e.g., Cameras, Lighting, Audio).
- Item Tags: Create tags for easier searching and filtering.
- Units of Measure (UOM): Define how items are counted (Each, Kg, Meter, Box).
- Stock Adjustments: Manage reasons for manual stock corrections.
- Store Categories: Organize consumable store items into logical groups.
Documents & Templates
- Invoice PDF Templates: Preview and select invoice PDF templates for the Design & Share feature.
- Terms & Conditions: Manage default terms and conditions for invoices and documents.
- Signature Settings: Upload or draw a default signature for invoices and documents.
Operations
- Operations Settings: Configure fulfillment mode (Delivery vs Self-Pickup) for the Operations Hub.
Integrations
- Third-party Apps: Connect Rentablez with other tools like Zoho Books for accounting.
- MCP (AI Agent): Connect AI assistants to query your rental data using the Model Context Protocol.
